Mark Sandland Ware Lancaster & Sandland Ltd. Hanley Staffordshire England, 1949+. Stamp 224. Manufacturer of earthenware at the Dresden works in Tinkersclough in Hanley, Stoke of Tent. The Lancaster pottery from 1887 was with Lancaster and Baker.  From 1944, was renamed Lancaster and Sandland. Was liquidated in 1968.  Scene of England box English house and barn with farm animals. This trinket dish could be used for rings, watch, etc. There are signs of use, no chips or cracks, gold gilt in good condition, crazing, glaze inside dull, see pictures.
