He was born in Eufurt Germany in 1881. His love of painting transitioned into a passion for etching, for which he is best known. He spent time in the United States during the 1920-30's. Both colored etchings are signed, framed, and matted. One frame has a chip. (See pictures as they are part of description). This set of etchings are beautifully displayed in dark wood frames with upgraded, material covered, rust colored, mattes that will blend into any décor. Glass appears to be UV reflecting. There are a few scratches on the frames. Used in excellent condition. These will require special packing and insured shipping. An email with final shipping cost will be sent prior to shipping.
