Mark: Hand Painted Made In Japan with a bird in flight in middle. Japanese lusterware (porcelain) hand painted with a light blueish purple rim which fades into dark blue. Off centered orange, yellow, and green floral design surrounded by dark blue on these cute tea and scone plates. Gold gilding is very thin around rim. No cups. The underside is not glazed.
