Mark: The House of Webster, Ceramics, Eastland, Texas. Patten: Briar Rose. Vintage 1970's. A graceful and elegantly designed cracker bowl. Colors: Variations of pink, white, green leaves. Gold gilding around rim in great condition. House of Webster was started in 1934 in Arkansas. Originally, delivering baked good they moved to jams and jellies and ceramics in the 70's. The ceramics were produced in Eastland, Texas after 1954 when House of Webster bought Horton Ceramics. The lid is missing but this would make a great planter or rose bowl. No chips, a few cracks (inside and under roses on back, do not go all the way through), some crazing (see pictures). Beautiful piece of Texas history. Used in good condition.
