Vintage Mount Clemens Pottery Candle Holders
Mark: Mount Clemens Pottery Yours....From the good Earth, Made in Japan. Mount Clemens Pottery Company made dinnerware from 1914 through the end of the 1980s. Mount Clemens Pottery sold to David T. Chase of Chase Enterprises in 1965. Chase changed the name to Mount Clemens China Company. A second reorganization occurred in the 1970s. Mount Clemens became Jamestown China. David Chase, C. Ikuta, and Neachimen Corporation owned the company. Sabin Industries burned to the ground in 1979. All decorating was moved to Mount Clemens. In 1980, the name changed back to Mount Clemens. Production ceased in 1987. Beautiful Christmas holly and red ribbon adorn these candle holders. Gold gilding in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Used in excellent condition.
